Would an American person be offended? (Americans only, please)?

I know you asked Americans only, but I just want to say that whenever a question about 9/11 being a cover up comes up here on Y/A! you can see the pion Americans feel about the subject in the tone of their answers. I am really interested in this topic, and I am very surprised at how touchy Americans are about this subject - you have to be very careful what to say - the ones who don't believe the conspiracy spit venom when it's mentioned and the ones who do think it is are extremely frustrated. It's a really dividing subject.
