Why we Malaysian we would say "Minum Apa" but Indonesian would say "Minumnya Apa"?

It's just some kind of accessory grammar like in Malaysia we used to say "la" a lot, but in Indonesia they use "-nya" a lot. The grammar in both countries are different, I've learned both tatabahasa & found lots of difference between them. But, the worst part is some people saying it as "apa minum?" hehe
