Does this make sense to all the statistic professors here..?

if you work at a store and you suspect black people are the one's doing the stealing and you have a watchful eye on them.................doesnt it makes sense that black people would be the majority of the ones getting caught. thus supporting your statistics. this by no means indicates that they steal more often than white people or hispanic people, simply that they are being targeted more often. the same people throwing these statistics around are the racist ones who always suspect black people as opposed to anyone else. sometimes i think i could walk into a shoe outlet and take shoes out of the store hanging from my neck without anyone noticing because they are so aware of "others."
