Better lights for ford focus?

Hi all, i'm wanting to upgrade my mk1 ford focus 1.6 sides, diped and main beam bulbs with better brighter bulbs( maybe blue tint ones,maybe if they are suggested by u coz im not sure). This is due to when its wet my current ones dont seem to illuminate well. I've looked at the phillip range and osmar, but the thing is im not sure what i should be looking at in terms of being better etc so was wondering i you guys could help me by giving sugestions and mayb a site which explains what to look for. Thanks in advance
