Need a visual representation?

I need a visual representation (like a picture or paintings whatever) of the idea that "living in the Australian bush breeds tough people" and it needs to be kinda symbolic, like don't give me a picture of a tough guy standing in an outback town, that doesn't help. I've got an idea of my own but I'm not sure, so I would like some inspiration from anyone out there.
