that's a hard ? to answer bcuz i don't know what his situation is like. is his s*it with his ex? work? kids? based on what you said tho... sounds to me like your on the back burner. he's keeping you around just in case "he's ready" but not getting involved cuz he doesn't know where he stands in his other "drama" a guy you love is def worth sticking around for... how long your willing to put your love life on hold is at your discretion. id wait a decent amount of time and if nothing has changed for the better... move on.
