Ways to prevent your self from getting bronchitis when you have symptoms?

one of my friend might have given me bronkidous and im worried becuase i have my 6 flags activities coming up along with graduation and prom. now im not sure if i acutally have sympotoms beacue the past few days i've had very bad alergies.and my friend is almost better sh just still had alittle cough and we both forgot and shared an icecream do u have any info on symptons or advice?
