Question about 1988 Honda Prelude?

If you are looking at the odometer on the 2.0 si Honda prelude, do you count the last number that is in white? Because I have 87 Golf but it doesnt have that so I am confused. Because if I count the last number that is in white that would mean the miles are 820000 which I am doubting. In that case, it must be broken. Anyone know?
